The Ultimate Black Jack Betting Strategies
Almost everyone has heard of the millions of dollars won by M.I.T. students during their trips to Nevada . They were able to consistently win by using card counting strategies . But it is also the story of kids who put themselves in massive danger by breaking a cardinal rule, "don't cheat in a casino" .
The legality of the black jack betting strategies these students were employing is irrelevant to the discussion, though . The pit bosses saw them as a massive threat so security stopped it .
For the average bettor, you would have a hard time employing a system like this . Most people cannot count cards effectively, and even more are not willing to risk the casino's anger . Card counting systems will not work online, as the shuffle has been removed from most online casinos .
But there are still a several black jack betting strategies strategies you can employ alone and be effective . Read on, and see which strategy works best for you :
The Martingale System is a commonly known system, but it is also very risky . Under this you make a continuous series of bets until you win a minimum bet amount . If you win the first bet you simply start up another series . Once you lose you must double your bet . This doubling of bets goes on indefinitely, until the player wins or runs out of cash . Once you have won, you will not only get back your losses but the original bet amount as well . This system would be flawless if you had an unlimited amount of time and an unlimited bankroll . Unfortunately, most people have neither . This strategy should be avoided at all cost for the typical player ! Along with the huge risks you take on your double up bets, you can be crushed even harder if you are already doubling past what you feel comfortable with and then get dealt cards that require you to split or double down, or worse, both . You'll be going home shoeless if the dealer gets lucky once .
The Paroli System is setup the exact opposite of the Martingale System ; instead of doubling when you lose you only double when you win . House money is risked in place of your own money, allowing you to keep losses to a minimum . As long as a person does not get too greedy they could profit greatly from this strategy .
The Cross-out System was developed as an alternative to the Martingale System . In Cross-out, you write down a series of random one digit numbers, and bet the total of the first and last digit of the series .
As an example , say your series is 1 through 5 , the first bet you placed would be six . If you had won you would strike through these numbers and continue on with the rest of the series . If you had lost, the amount of chips you lost would be added to the end of your number row and that would become part of the betting series . Win or lose, you use this system until all of the numbers have been crossed off . The system can definitely work, but you will need writing instruments to keep it accurate .
Whatever your goals are , keep looking across the internet and speaking to friends and family for several tips for black jack . Each system is different, so try out many until you find the one you like . After you have gotten the system mastered, get out there and win .
